Viking Ocean Takes Delivery of Fourth Ship

Viking has taken delivery of its fourth ocean ship in a ceremony at the Fincantieri shipyard in Ancona, Italy. Viking Sun will sail consecutive World Cruise itineraries, beginning with Viking’s first-ever, departing from Miami on 15 December 2017. Over the course of 141 days, the ship will visit 66 ports in 35 countries, before ending its voyage in London on 5 May 2018. In 2019, Viking Sun will continue to circle the globe, completing a recently-announced second World Cruise, which spans 128-days, five continents, 21 countries and 44 ports, including 10 overnight stays in port.
