Symphony of the Seas Leaves Dry Dock
Royal Caribbean’s newest ship Symphony of the Seas has entered the next stage in its construction after leaving dry dock.
The new Oasis-class ship was floated out on 9 June 2017, with the construction of the ship’s interiors now underway.
When launched in spring 2018, Symphony of the Seas will be the largest cruise ship ever built. The ship will offer similar features to sister ship Harmony of the Seas, including the Bionic Bar, various neighbourhoods and Ultimate Abyss, the tallest slide at sea.
The ship will sail an inaugural summer season in the Mediterranean, before homeporting in Miami from early November to begin seven-night eastern and western Caribbean itineraries.
